What is the difference between a digital business card and a paper one?
A paper card starts ageing the moment it is handed over; a title change means a reprint and the other person types the details by hand. A digital business card opens on the phone, is saved to contacts with one tap and its page is updated when details change; how many times it was opened and which link was tapped is visible. For teams, the cards are managed from one dashboard.
NFC business card or QR code business card: what is the difference?
Both open the same card page. With NFC the card is tapped against the phone, with QR the camera is pointed at the code. NFC works without breaking eye contact; QR works on a screen, on a paper card and on a badge, so it is the fallback in every setting. The card itself supports both.
Does the other person need an app?
No. The card page opens in the phone's browser; save to contacts uses a standard vCard file that iPhone and Android read natively. The only app involved is the panel where you edit your card, and that runs in the browser too.
How many cards can I create?
1 on the free plan, 10 on Starter and 50 on Pro; Enterprise is quoted per team. When you reach the limit you upgrade and continue with the same cards.
What happens to a card when someone leaves?
The admin deactivates the card; its link then answers with a gone status instead of showing outdated details, and the card slot is freed for the next hire. Nothing needs to be collected back.
